City of Albuquerque’s Constructive Conversations Report

Constructive Conversations was a series of meetings (1 for each of the 9 City Council Districts) designed to bring community members like you together with city leaders to discuss shaping the future of development in Albuquerque.

The series aimed to bridge the gap between community aspirations and funding realities, focusing on potential investments that can enhance our city’s infrastructure, quality of life, and sustainability. Each session in the series explored city development in a particular Council district. Depending on the needs of the neighborhoods, these projects could include infrastructure, buildings, transportation, green spaces, cultural landmarks, and more.

You might recall the meeting for District 4 area was conducted on May 22nd at North Domingo Baca Multigenerational Center and here are the handouts that were available at the. The city has now posted the concluding report for the series along with presentation slides and some video “footage” at the following link.

La Cueva High School Community Access

In order to facilitate mutually acceptable public access/schedules at La Cueva High School, such that both school security needs as well as community access concerns are adequately addressed, a public input meeting was held at the school on June 10 2024. An electronic survey was then conducted in July to the 2nd week of August. The result of the survey was the consensus La Cueva HS Field Public Access Schedule below.

This Schedule will go into effect this October and the public will have access at the stipulated times/dates via remotely operated gate controlled by the APS Police Department.

To see the new schedule, please click on this La Cueva Public Access Link.

Thank you for all your input and assistance that facilitated this process and compromise.
